openSUSE comes with two of the most well known Linux desktop environments, KDE and Gnome. Personally I prefer KDE. KDE can be used by user with only basic needs for configuration as well as users who wish to use extended configuration possibilities. Besides a super intuitive interface KDE also offers really great graphics, and a lot of advanced features and shortcuts making the user experience great and providing an efficient work environment. Linus Benedict Torvalds; born December 28, 1969 in Helsinki, Finland) is a Finnish software engineer best known for having initiated the development of the Linux kernel and git revision control system. He later became the chief architect of the Linux kernel, and now acts as the project's coordinator.
